With an accounting degree from the University of Kentucky, Rod Wolford started his career as a CPA before moving into healthcare leadership as CEO of health companies ranging from hospital systems, medical software, pharmacy robotics, medical imaging and wellness. He has extensive experience raising capital, working with and leading companies financed by private equity and venture capital and now serves on the boards of RCCH (Regional Care/Capella Health) in Nashville, D4C Dental Brands in Atlanta and Liberate Medical in Louisville. He also serves, as a Fund Manager with BGA Angel Funds III and IV, is a member of the UK Von Allmen Entrepreneurial Center advisory board and the Casey County Economic Development Authority. After living in numerous locations around the US he now resides in his hometown of Liberty, KY with his wife Mary and regularly reduces his savings as a pilot, avid traveler, woodworker and farming.
